We have thrown out a challenge to South Africans, to greet people in their own languages, so that they feel respected.
In order to make this easier, we have put together a list of common greetings, in South Africa.
I certainly hope that this helps.
Take the time, to print this document. Stick it to the wall, add it to your computer, and learn and practice one greeting, each day.
You may not remember the greetings initially, just don’t give up. Our future is in our hands.
FInd ways to help each other. Stick your preferred name, and preferred greeting onto your shirts and signs wherever you work on.
Let’s find easier and easier ways, to ensure that we live and work within respect.
